生野銀山

807年に発見されたと言われ、1542年から本格的な採掘が開始、1973年の閉山までの長い歴史を持つ生野銀山。金、銀の鉱山として栄えた後は銅、亜鉛、鉛、錫の産出が主となり、またコバルト、インジウム、アンチモンなどのレアメタルも産出されたそうです。微量な物も含めると70種以上の鉱石が産出されたそうです。（2018年5月）

Ikuno Ginzan(Silver Mine)

It's believed that the mine was found in 807. Mining production started in 1542 and operated until the closure of the mine in 1973. Major production was gold and silver in the beginning and then shifted to copper, zinc, lead and tin. Rare metals such as cobalt, indium, antimony were also found.
