Kizuro

I call it "horseshoe bend in Japan" and actually it is. It is about 3 hours round-trip by walk to get to the observation point. You need to take a tour to get there. On the way to the point, I could see bathing place of wild pig, breccia telling that the rocks used to be in the sea and small crystallized quartz. (2017.May)

​真ん中にこんもりした陸地を残す形で侵食が進んでいます。アメリカのアリゾナにあるホースシューベンドを思い起こさせます。現地に行くには基本的にツアー参加となります。途中イノシシの水浴び場や礫岩を見たり、また石英の結晶も見つけてしまい石好きとしてはゆっくり探したい願望を押さえ、隊列を乱さぬよう横目で進み、、と楽しいツアーでした。

シャクナゲの花がきれいに咲いていました。
